Cutting Edge Surgical Laser

laser surgery

Less Pain - The laser beam seals the nerve endings as it cuts through tissue resulting in less pain during and after surgery. The patient, therefore, experiences a far more comfortable post operative recovery.

Less Bleeding
- The laser beam also seals small blood vessels during surgery resulting in less bleeding; helping to reduce the duration of surgery and decrease the time your pet is under anesthesia.

Less Swelling
- Only the light beam comes into contact with tissue, reducing the tearing and bruising of tissue that can result from traditional surgical methods.
Reduced Risk of Infection - The laser beam efficiently kills micro-organisms in its path, producing a sterilizing effect.

Faster Recovery Tim
e - Less pain, less bleeding, less swelling and a reduced risk of infection often allow the patient to recover much faster after surgery. (BACK TO TOP)

Ultrasound

Gain advanced insight into the inner working of the body in a safe, affordable and non-invasive way.
Performed in real time to view the movement of the patien's internal organs and assess blood flow and heart valve function.

Provides valuable medical information regarding the heart, liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, prostate, and urinary bladder.

Allows for the veterinarian to determine the source of pain, swelling, and infection in many parts of the body.

Monitors fetal development.

Assesses organ damage based on abnormal lab results, radiographic or physical exam findings.

Reveals shape, texture, and size of many masses and tumors.

Facilitates minimally invasive guided biopsies of abnormalities. (BACK TO TOP)

Diagnostic Lab Testing by Idexx

Lasercyte Hematology Analyzer performs a Complete Blood Chemistry (CBC) which allows the veterinarian to evaluate your pet's platelets and red and white blood cells.

Vet Test Chemistry Analyzer provides valuable information regarding the function of your pet's internal organs (liver, kidneys, pancreas, etc).

Vet Stat Electrolyte and Blood Gas Analyzer helps save lives in many emergency situations.

Snap Reader provides test results regarding thyroid, cortisol, and bile acids levels.

Vet Lab UA provides computerized interpretation of urine which aids in the diagnosis of kidney disease, urinary tract infections, diabetes, and other internal diseases.

In-Clinic laboratory data provides valuable information not only for compromised and ill patients but also for patients who have been previously diagnosed or those receiving long term medications. We are able to get results within minutes instead of days as with outside laboratories which allows for faster treatment and management of your pet's medical and surgical needs. (BACK TO TOP)

Radiology and Automatic Film Processor

Orthopedic Evaluation (including but not limited to fractures, dysplasia, intervertebral disc disease, and arthritis)

Provide radiographs of your breeding pet for OFA hip and elbow certification.

Soft Tissue Evaluation - Assess the size and shape of internal organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, prostate, urinary bladder, small and large intestine, and spleen. This allows us to screen and evaluate the body for things like heart enlargement, pneumonia, bladder stones, foreign bodies, constipation, bloat, sinus and dental abnormalities, etc.

Estimate litter size and provide valuable information for whelping.

Fast development of images for interpretation allowing for quicker treatment and management of your pet's medical and surgical needs. (BACK TO TOP)

Ultrasonic Dental Unit

The majority (85%) of pets over the age of 3 suffer from some degree of dental disease and will greatly benefit from a dental cleaning to scale away unwanted plaque and tartar that causes gingivitis and periodontal disease (inflammation and infection of the gums). Ultrasonic dental scaling gets above and below the gum line where bacteria can hide.

Dental polishing not only polishes the tooth surface impeding the accumulation of new plaque but also reduces the staining evident on the tooth surface.

Fluoride treatments desensitize exposed dentin, strengthen tooth enamel, decrease the rate of plaque reattachment, and stimulate re-mineralization of the enamel; all important to good dental health. Most of our pets do not have access to fluorinated water and therefore benefit from fluoride treatments.

Advanced dental surgical procedures available. (BACK TO TOP)

Vital Sign Monitors

Monitors multiple body systems for safer anesthesia.

Warns of potential problems helping to prevent emergency situations.

Monitors heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate. (BACK TO TOP)
